I got my hands on a Hasselblad x-pan.
The quality and sharpness of the images are astounding, I've compared it to the Leica and Zeiss glass and it's pretty much the same.
I got a 45mm and 90mm lens with it. You can also alternate between double frame panoramic, or single 35mm frame, very handy for certain situations.
On one roll of 36 shot 35mm film, you get 20 photos as the frames are 65mm x 24mm.
Some of these I scanned from the contact sheet some I photographed from a tv screen hooked up to an enlarger, so sorry about the quality of the scans.
This was photographed from the TV, so now it's art.
It gave me, a head ache trying to use this camera at first, you totally have to retrain your eye. I feel like I'm starting out in photography again. I'm getting giddy just trying to think of new possability's.
I don't think I've enjoyed myself this much since I first started snapping.
It's a pity the man on the left didn't have barbed wire tatoo's as well.
When lining up to compose the shot, it's more like a cinematographer setting up a widescreen scene, like those old cowboy movies of yester year.
At first I felt guilty buying it, since I can barely scrape by the housing rent, then I thought fuck it, I got a great deal, and you can't take money to the grave.
Although it's made for landscape photography, don't expect too many sunset or beach shots in the future from me.
I'll load photos of italy next week.
